‘Deflate Gate’–Plenty Of Questions, No Answers As Patriots’ Sponsor Krispy Kreme Hits Twitter (VIDEO)

Every Superbowl fan has an opinion. The NFL has released information that 11 of the 12 footballs used by the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game against the Colts were approximately 2 pounds under-inflated.

People (particularly those rooting for the Colts) seem to think that the Patriots should be sitting on the sidelines and that the Colts should move forward to the Superbowl. That is so unlikely, it would just waste space addressing that wishful thinking. Other penalties discussed are fines and draft choices, and some have suggested no penalty at all.

It is left to the National Football League to decide what will happen. Anyone with an opinion is encouraged to leave one on this article. I am a Broncos fan and would love to hear what you think should happen to Bill Belichick’s team. Personally, I think he should be banned from wearing that damn hoodie.

While we sit and wait for the outcome of this and prepare for the over-hyped Superbowl, let’s take a look at the first ‘penalty’ of the game. That would be the tweet heard around the country from one of the Patriots’ sponsors: Krispy Kreme.

I personally watch the Superbowl for the commercials. This is the perfect beginning to two weeks of hell listening to standard quips from athletes about playing the game with honor. One of my friends posted a comment shortly after it became apparent that it would be the Seahawks and the Patriots in the Superbowl:

“Well this makes it easy not to watch the Superbowl.”

I am most certain that there are some fans out there that feel differently but I shall be cheering during the commercial interruptions.

“Go Krispy Kreme!!”
