Elizabeth Warren Declines Fox News Town Hall Invite, Rips ‘Hate-For-Profit’ Network In Tweetstorm

Some Democrats have participated with town halls hosted by Fox News, but Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren declined an invitation from the network, calling it a “hate-for-profit racket that gives a megaphone to racists and conspiracists.” Bernie Sanders and Amy Klobuchar have participated in the network’s town halls in order to reach out to conservatives, but Warren unleashed a tweetstorm to explain her reasons.

Bernie Sanders did a good job by reaching out to the networks’ viewers on the issue of Medicare For All, so there’s a point to be made for participating in a Fox News town hall event — and Warren also made a good point for not being featured on the divisive network.
