LeBron Trashes Racist Trump, This Is One For The History Books

Basketball star LeBron James has been in a hot war off and on with Donald Trump. He was already headed for his place in history in his own right, but King James’ feud with the so-called “president” has sealed the deal on that one. Now, in a new interview, LeBron has spoken – and this time it is in unquestionable and explicit terms about Trump’s racism.

James went on CNN Tonight with Don Lemon, and Lemon asked:

“Whenever there’s something, like he’s in trouble, he can’t wiggle his way out of something, he’ll bring up the national anthem and kneeling or standing. Do you think he uses black athletes as a scapegoat?”

James’s response was nothing short of scathing:

“I believe he uses anything that’s popular to try to negate people from thinking about the positive things they can be doing and try to get our minds to not be as sharp as possible right then. Look at Kaepernick, who was protesting something he believed in and he did in the calmest way possible. Very respectful. He did his due diligence. Everyone knew why he did it.”

James went on to elaborate:

“It didn’t matter what color you are to feel that tension, to feel like our great country, you know. That we all wake up every day in the land of the free as we believe with great opportunity to be even more than what people even expect you to become for that to happen, you just felt like that was — that was kind of the tipping point.”

After that, Lemon asked LeBron James about a possible career in public office after he was no longer an athlete. James said that he was not into pursuing such a path right now, but would do so out of necessity:

“Well, in that case, I may. If they had no one, I mean, I believe there’s some people out there, I hope. Let’s see first. Let’s see first.”

Then, LeBron James seemed to be trying to sink the McDonald’s addicted Trump into an early heart attby by twisting the knife very deeply into Trump’s sore spot right then: The Donald’s obvious jealousy over how beloved Barack Obama is with the American people. With regards to whether or not he’d have a conversation with Donald Trump about racism, LeBron James said:

” I would never sit across from him. I’d sit across from Barack, though.”

ZING! That is sure to make Trump’s tiny little head explode and all of that awful orange hair go flying off into he wild blue yonder. Woe betide anyone that happens to be in its path. In the meantime, a battle between Trump and LeBron James would be EPIC. Pop your popcorn for that one, folks.
