Incumbent Dem Loses Primary From The Left, Trump Makes It All About Himself

Tuesday night was primary night in seven states. These are closely watched races, as we live in the times of surprise and the unknown. Well, said surprises came home to roost in Queens, New York, as 19-year Democratic incumbent Joe Crowley lost his primary to an upstart who had never run for office, 28-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Of course, Crowley immediately got behind Cortez, like any good liberal who wants to take the House back in order to have a check on Trump would do:

Now, of course, Donald Trump had to weigh in. However, it seems that he doesn’t quite understand that a Democratic primary in a deep blue district in New York has literally nothing to do with him, since he blamed Crowley’s loss on the treatment the longtime Democratic Congressman had given, quote, “his president”:

Then again, Trump is an obvious malignant narcissist, and this is what narcissists do. He literally cannot help himself. Or perhaps he is just ignorant. Or both. Either way, Trump is making a fool of himself here. With a woman like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in Congress, he will wish he had Joe Crowley back. If Trump thought Crowley hated him, he won’t know what hit him when this Ocasio-Cortez gets to Washington.

Oh, but since she is Latina, Trump will sure have a new barrage of racist insults to throw at her, but no worries – we already know that she is more than a match. After all, if Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez can take out the man many people thought was on his way to becoming Speaker of the House, she can surely take out Donald Trump.
