Trump Takes A Few Shots At Former CIA Director Before Heading To CIA Headquarters

Donald Trump took a few shots at former CIA director John Brennan before heading to CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia for the swearing in of the former reality show star’s pick, Gina Haspel. Brennan, though, endorsed Haspel and the White House used that endorsement to promote her as Trump’s nominee. In 2013, Brennan named Haspel as Acting Director of National Clandestine Service.

On Monday, Trump quoted Dan Bongino, a former Secret Service agent and conservative commentator, to slam Brennan in a series of tweets.

And then, of course, Trump took a shot at former President Barack Obama.

Obama is no longer president but Trump just can’t get over his predecessor. He’s like that clingy guy in the 5th grade.

Brennan led the agency from 2013 to 2017, under President Obama, and has been highly critical of Trump.
