Trump Shows His Fear Of Comey Book Revelations, Goes On Completely Unhinged Morning Rant (Tweet)

By now, everyone is well aware that Donald Trump is deeply afraid of several key players in Washington who know way more about him than he would like. One of those people is former FBI Director James Comey. Aside from Comey’s high profile firing, as well as his subsequent testimony in front of Congress, the honorable – if controversial – career prosecutor and intelligence professional is out with a new book, aptly named A Higher Loyalty. While the book is not set to be released until Tuesday, naturally in this hot political climate excerpts have leaked online. MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow actually spent much of her Thursday night hour gleefully reading from the book, which her program scooped an advance copy of.

In the book, Comey details his conversation regarding the now infamous dossier, and the claims about a salacious encounter that Trump allegedly had with Russian hookers that featured urination as a form of a sexy kink. According to the Washington Post, Comey said of his conversation with Trump regarding these allegations:

The president-elect quickly interrupted the FBI director. According to Comey’s account in a new memoir, Trump “strongly denied the allegations, asking — rhetorically, I assumed — whether he seemed like a guy who needed the service of prostitutes. He then began discussing cases where women had accused him of sexual assault, a subject I had not raised. He mentioned a number of women, and seemed to have memorized their allegations.”

Of course, with all of this information coming out amidst the cloud of scandal that constantly hangs over the Trump Administration, the wannabe orange dictator is not happy. So, to that end, he did what he always does when the news about him is not favorable, and took to Twitter to slam Comey and his book:

Nobody should be surprised by this. Trump is clearly afraid as Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s noose tightens around his neck, as well as the necks of those close to him, and the revelations from Comey’s book certainly don’t help his case. However, anyone with a shred of brains understands that Trump is a proven and habitual liar, and Comey’s characterization of him in the book as some kind of mob boss occupying the presidency to the nation’s detriment is nothing less than completely true.

We don’t have to agree with everything Comey has done in his political career, or in the 2016 presidential campaign. Goodness knows I don’t. But from all we have seen of Trump, and of Comey, the orange one has every reason to be afraid – and so do we as Trump grows ever more unhinged and dangerous as long as he is in office.
