Arizona Democrat Agrees To Work With Trump On Immigration On One Condition

Donald Trump demands that Democrats work with him on immigration, and he may have found his first ally — IF President Stable Genius can make one teensy weensy completely reasonable change to his ideas.

Arizona Rep. Ruben Gallego would be a powerful ally for The Donald on border security, and Gallego says he will work with Trump “when his ideas aren’t stupid.”

“I will gladly work with the president when his ideas aren’t stupid and detrimental to the United States,” Gallego said Thursday. “Unfortunately this is what this plan is.”

The remarks came after Gallego was attacked by the White House following his criticism of The Donald’s immensely dumb plan to deploy National Guard troops to the US-Mexico border in an effort to curb illegal immigration at a cost of roughly $100k per troop per year.

Gallego, like most Americans, views this as a “waste” of taxpayer dollars on social media.

White House Propaganda Minister Sarah Huckabee Sanders fired back, telling Gallego to “show up and actually support legislation that would fix these problems instead of blaming the president that’s actually doing something about it.”

So, will Trump manage to find a way to make his ideas “not stupid?” Probably not — but it’d be a good start.
