Ellen Just Put The Cherry On Top Of John Oliver’s Trolling Mike Pence In The Best Way Possible (VIDEO)

By now, the entire world knows that John Oliver of HBO’s Last Week Tonight has been epically trolling Mike Pence. The notoriously hateful homophobe currently occupying the post of Vice President has an admittedly adorable pet rabbit named Marlon Bundo. His daughter, Charlotte and his wife Karen wrote a children’s book from the rabbit’s point of view, called Marlon Bundo’s Day In the Life of the Vice President. Of course, one stop on the book tour had to be an event hosted by Focus on the Family, an organization that is on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s list of anti-LGBTQ hate groups.

So, to that end, John Oliver decided to have his show write and illustrate its own children’s book about Pence’s rabbit – and in his book, Pence’s bunny is gay. Called Last Week Tonight Presents a Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo, this book is adorable and about love. Marlon Bundo falls in love with Weseley, but the stink bug, who looks like Mike Pence, won’t let them get married.

On Sunday night, Last Week Tonight released their book – a day before the Pences released theirs. Further, all of the money will go to the Trevor Project, an organization which helps LGBTQ youth. Here is the hilarious segment:

As if that weren’t enough trolling for Pence, Oliver went on the Ellen Show to discuss the book, and in one of the talk show host’s famous games, gave out copies of his book, which actually sold out. For every book Oliver was able to give out to members of Ellen’s audience, HBO donated $100 to the Trevor Project. When Oliver was done with the game, Ellen rounded up the donation to $10,000. Here is video of that awesome segment:

This is the best troll act EVER. Thank you, John Oliver and Ellen Degeneres for showing the world that there is still humor and love even in the midst of the misery we’re all living through right now – and doing it in the best way possible.
