Donald Trump often claims to have “great respect” or “great relationships” with groups he disparages. Though he wants to ban all Muslims from the United States, round them up into concentration camps, establish a Muslim database, and force them to all wear special little badges, he claimed earlier this month that, “I love the Muslims.”
Despite his claim that “a great relationship with the blacks” he cheered supporters’ decision to beat a black man at an Alabama rally, has spiked such a surge in interest in white supremacist groups that some have had to upgrade servers, and tweets out neo-Nazi propaganda intended to demonize — what does he call them? — “the blacks.”
While Trump proudly says “I have a great relationship the Mexican people. I love them, they love me,” one must wonder if these are the same Mexicans he claims are rapists.
“I get along with everybody,” Trump says. “People love me, and you know what? I’ve been very successful, everybody loves me.” Presumably, this “everyone” includes women. In fact, he said as much after insulting Hillary Clinton for having to use the bathroom at the final Democratic debate of 2015 when he learned that women sometimes have to pee, too. On Twitter, The Donald warned Clinton to be careful who he’s talking to when she points out that he’s a sexist pig — after all, he has a “great respect for women”:
Trump might think he’s telling the truth, but here are 5 times that he proved himself to be a liar:
2.) In 2014, Trump said that female journalists absolutely MUST be hot. “I mean, we could say politically correct that look doesn’t matter, but the look obviously matters,” he told a female reporter. “Like you wouldn’t have your job if you weren’t beautiful.”
3.) In 2011, a female lawyer asked for a break to pump breast milk for her infant daughter. The attorney told CNN that Trump didn’t react very pleasantly to the news…” He got up, his face got red, he shook his finger at me and he screamed, ‘You’re disgusting, you’re disgusting,’ and he ran out of there,” attorney Elizabeth Beck explained. Trump did not refute the claims.
4.) Earlier this year, Trump tweeted — and deleted — something with which Clinton is likely familiar. “If Hillary Clinton can’t satisfy her husband,” Trump said, “what makes her think she can satisfy America?”
These are, of course, just a few of the many times that Trump has disrespected women — and adequate evidence that he doesn’t have any respect for them at all.
