Fox News Guest: Democrats Are ‘Whoring For Votes’ With #BlackLivesMatter (VIDEO)

Can we all just agree that when Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, Larry Elder, and Juan Williams are all on TV at one time, chances are someone is going to play “one up” until the worst possible thing is finally said? Unsurprisingly, the right wing didn’t like the Democratic debate because it was all filled with Democrats and they were all mean to Republicans and stuff.

Of course, Fox News host, Sean Hannity, had to talk about the Black Lives Matter question on the debate and bring on the only brown friends he has. But it was Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke who really went there on the BLM issue:

They’re whoring for votes. They know that’s what they’re doing. The liberal ideology has been very destructive for the black community for the last 50 or 60 years. Poverty is now generational, it’s a lifestyle.”

Uh… no. Hannity told the guests he did not understand the discrepancy between “Black Lives Matter” and “All Lives Matter.” As a refresher for uneducated Mr. Hannity, read this. Or as comedian Felonious Munk said on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, “If I break my leg, I do not want the doctor telling me, ‘All legs should be healed,'” Munk explained. “I want the doctor to fix my leg.”

Juan Williams agreed that anyone who answered “Black Lives Matter” is pandering, but “there is a real issue of excessive use of police force in the country. Black Lives Matter has come as a response to that issue, and so what you get is Democratic politicians…”

“No there isn’t,” Sheriff Clarke said shouting down Williams.

“He says there isn’t,” Williams said. “There’s no argument that clearly there’s an issue if you have Michael Brown, if you have Eric Garner, if you can go on.” He went on to tell the other guests they really need to “get more politically sophisticated” because Democrats are basically going to win the African American vote by simply acknowledging there’s a problem vs. the racist Republican approach of pretending there isn’t one.

Hannity showed his ignorance even more by asking why saying “White Lives Matter” is racist, while “Black Lives Matter” isn’t racist. Juan Williams went off from there and the shouting match that is Fox News erupted.

For some insane reason this continues to be a confusing problem to the right wing. As Black Lives Matter activists will explain, of course all lives matter, but to ignore the phrase “Black Lives Matter” ignores the reason the movement needed to be created. The fact that there must be a reminder that black lives matter is the problem, because the reality is no, not all lives matter to the police. Black lives don’t, and there lies the problem. One would hope that at some point, the right would figure it out, but I’m not holding my breath.
