Pope Hugged His Gay Atheist Buddy Before Inadvertently Shaking Hands With Kim Davis (VIDEO)

Yayo Grassi, and his partner Iwan Bagus, look like your typical loving gay couple. Yayo Grassi has been close to Jorge Mario Bergoglio for more than 50 years, and you know Jorge Mario Bergoglio by his new name: Pope Francis.

Pope Francis was his teacher at Inmaculada Concepcion, a Catholic high school in Santa Fe, Argentina, from 1964-1965.

The video of the meeting below shows Grassi and Francis seeing each other again in a welcoming embrace, but unlike with Kim Davis, this meeting was planned because Pope Francis wanted to see his friend.

“Three weeks before the trip, he called me on the phone and said he would love to give me a hug,” Grassi said.

When Kentucky County Clerk and unofficial homophobic Bump-It spokeswoman, Kim Davis,¬†crashed the Vatican Embassy she said she got a private audience with Pope Francis. The Vatican said that wasn’t the case.
Instead, they said, “the only real audience granted by the Pope at the nunciature (embassy) was with one of his former students and his family.”

“That was me,” Grassi said, telling CNN that he wanted to publicize the meeting “to show the truth of who Pope Francis is… He has never been judgmental. He has never said anything negative.”

Grassi said that despite Pope Francis’s guidance, today he is an atheist. The video shows Francis saying that he recalls meeting Bagus when the couple was visiting in Rome.

“Obviously he is the pastor of the church and he has to follow the church’s teachings,” Grassi said. “But as a human being he understands all kinds of situations, and he is open to all kinds of people, including those with different sexual characteristics.”

The Vatican says the meeting with Grassi and his partner didn’t endorse any policies. It stands to reason, then, that the shaking of the Kim Davis hand also didn’t endorse anything.

Interestingly, Pope Francis talked a little about the isolation he feels as Pope now. He has people who have met him a few times who then turned that experience into a profit venture. He went so far to complain of “feeling used” by people who call them his friend. “I have never in my life had so many ‘friends’ as now,” he said.

At a time when every “Kim Davis” in the world wants to tie their ideology to his position, he got to spend a few minutes with a real friend and see a loving face smile back without wanting to use him for his position for their own personal gain. Shame on Kim Davis for using her experience, whether she’s lying or not, to promote herself and her 15 minutes of hate-fame. It proves who she really is and it serves as a perfect contrast to the love and care he received from his old friends.
