Self-Loathing Immigrant Arnold Schwarzenegger Tapped To Replace Trump On ‘Celebrity Apprentice’

Though publications such as the International Business Times are now framing Donald Trump as losing his star role of the hit NBC show, “Celebrity Apprentice,” due to his run for the presidency, the public still knows full well that Trump was actually fired from his position for making ugly remarks against Mexican immigrants – a position he’s only grown more belligerent about ever since.

Ironically, the person NBC selected to fill Trump’s position is an immigrant, himself – former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Funny, right?

Well, even if there is a mild edge of humor there, it’s far from a gut-buster, as NBC picked one immigrant who would certainly continue to be a (T)rump kisser — one indoctrinated into conservative ideology and who thinks all immigrants should speak English and only English, as one-time potential “Celebrity Apprentice” replacement host George Lopez pokes fun at in the not suitable for work video, below:

As much as this all sounds like an article by The Onion, the news comes via Schwarzenegger’s own official Twitter account. As of Sunday, the 68-year-old former governor confirmed that he will be the host for Season 15 “Celebrity Apprentice,” which will air in 2016.

Schwarzenegger stated in a Variety interview:

“I have always been a huge fan of ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ and the way it showcases the challenges and triumphs of business and teamwork. I am thrilled to bring my experience to the boardroom and to continue to raise millions for charity. Let’s get started!”

IB Times points out:

“For those that may think Schwarzenegger is an odd choice to helm the show, The Wrap notes that he meets the right criteria of someone with a famous face and passable business acumen. He’s been in movies since the 1960s and served two terms as governor of California. He managed more than 300,000 state employees and a state budget worth hundreds of billions of dollars. In addition, he’s made successful investments in real estate and sports franchises. Not to mention he even guest starred on an episode of Season 6 of ‘The Apprentice,’ before the show utilized celebrities as contestants.”

And clearly, despite immigrating to the U.S. at the age of 21 in 1968, himself, Schwarzenegger shares a similar ideology to Trump. This is further evidenced by Trump’s warm congratulatory tweet to the “Kindergarten Cop,” below:

IB Times isn’t the only one trying to sweep Trump’s racism under the rug in an attempt to rewrite history. Protecting their own self-interest, NBC executive producer Mark Burnett said in a statement:

“After leaving the show to run for political office, Donald made it clear that he wanted ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ to be able to continue to raise millions of dollars annually for worthy causes, and now NBC and I have found an amazing new leader to do just that. Gov. Schwarzenegger will use his vast and highly successful business, political and media experience to drive this hit franchise to new heights.”

Way to sell out once again, Arnie — not that he ever stood for more than himself and the great, white, American male.

Finally, as to be expected, Trump, himself, seems to forget that he didn’t quit “Celebrity Apprentice,” he was fired for being a loud-mouthed racist. But now that he’s dominating the GOP primaries and looking like he could very well land the Republican nomination, folks are trying to rewrite history to get on his good side in case he becomes president.

Way to keep it classy, America.
