Jon Stewart’s Final Message To Fox: ‘Adios, Motherf*ckers’

Jon Stewart will step down as host of Comedy Central’s hit satirical newscast The Daily Show this week, and no one should feel safe. Over the course of 17 years, Stewart has won the hearts and minds of people seeking truth and accountability in journalism, politics, and everyday culture.

He also has been hailed from those center-to-left for his seething attacks on the Republican propaganda machine, Fox News. These attacks have been so strong, they’ve made Megyn Kelly cry.

Now that Stewart is leaving, who will hold them accountable for the outrageous, offensive and blatantly untrue things that they say on an everyday basis?

With this being his last week, Stewart has one message for Fox: “Adios, motherf*ckers.”

That goes for Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, Megyn Kelly, and everyone else tainted by the warped vision of Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes.

The wrath of Jon Stewart was in full throttle in his last segment, as he chastises the media conglomerate as being a hypocritical shill for the “conservative brand,” saying:

“Your hypocrisy isn’t a bug in the Fox model, it’s the feature. Your job is to discredit any source of criticism that might hurt the conservative brand by angrily holding them to standards you yourselves jettison in your news network’s mission statement. I’d be happy to ten if you made an argument”

“My hunch is, this show’s been harder on the Obama administration and this president per capita than you ever were in your eight years of [George W.] Bush fingerb*nging.”

The hypocrisy Stewart is referring to is Fox’s Howard Kurtz and his guest David Zurawik called him an “Obama propagandist.” Stewart gleefully fired back, showing a montage of Fox News hosts criticizing the president and saying “even Jon Stewart” is mocking him, proving their rank hypocrisy on yet another talking point.

To add insult to Fox’s already very visible injury, Stewart streamed the 50 Fox lies that he called out that they have never responded to. They aren’t likely to know, considering it’s his last week on the air.

So which is? He’s a tool for the Obama administration, or he mocks the president? While Fox says it’s dedicated to being fair and balanced, Stewart shows in just a short monologue that they are anything but. They’re nothing but a noise machine for the extreme right, hell-bent on scaring the nation into hating the President.

It still hasn’t hit me that he’s leaving.
