Youth Pastor Molested Girl 100’s Of Times, But Christian Righties Say Gays Are Danger To Kids (VIDEO)

A Missouri youth pastor has been arrested for molesting a girl hundreds of times over the course of five years, yet conservative “Christians” still insist gay people are the true threat to children.

For years, conservatives have portrayed gay people as pedophiles when it turns out the real pedophiles who have been stalking and molesting children are employed by the church.

Cameron Patterson served as a youth pastor at Ballwin Baptist Church and now he is behind bars after he sent an email to a girl apologizing for molesting her for five years.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, “the charges involve one victim who allegedly was sexually assaulted by Patterson hundreds of times over a period of five years. The alleged victim was between the ages of 12 and 17 at the time.”

In multiple emails to the his victim, Patterson wrote that he “wanted to seek professional counseling for his sins and to seek guidance from church officials and his parents” and wondered if he’s a creepy child abusing pastor like the ones he has heard of in news reports.

“I have seen reports of teachers and youth pastors being arrested for having inappropriate and often sexual relationships with a student, and I have asked myself the question of if I am that teacher or youth pastor… Is that me?”

Patterson has been charged with two counts of child molestation and faces 15 years to life in prison.

Pastor David Rubemeyer of the Ballwin Baptist Church says Patterson is no longer employed at the church.

Once again, another “man of God” has been caught sexually abusing a child even as conservative “Christians” like the Duggar family, Mike Huckabee, and Rick Santorum continue to claim that LGBT people are the true threat to children.

It’s completely hypocritical, especially since Josh Duggar himself molested his own sisters.

And Patterson isn’t the only example of a youth pastor who has preyed upon children. There are many examples, such as the anti-gay church volunteer who molested young boys in 2012, or the Iowa youth pastor who raped boys to “cure” them of homosexuality but won’t spend a day in prison, or the youth minister who raped a girl in church and possessed child pornography. And then there’s the epidemic of child molestation that has occurred in Christian “boot camps.”

Clearly, conservative “Christians” should get their own house in order before they accuse others of being pedophiles.
