HILARIOUS – Stephen Colbert Appears On ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ (VIDEO)

No matter what side of the political aisle you reside on, it’s tough to deny the comedy genius of Stephen Colbert. He’s quick. He’s both mentally and physically agile.

It shouldn’t be a surprise that he was invited onto the improv show “Whose Line Is It Anyway” in 2006. Colbert is professionally trained as an improv actor from the famed Second City in Chicago.

He studied theater at Northwestern University and he even garnered an honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts from Knox College in Illinois.

His appearance on “Whose Line” wasn’t exactly flawless, but that’s what made him funny. In the first game, he was asked to rap and like his show, he seemed like the awkward white guy, but physically, he showed he had quite the moves.

In the second game, Colbert and Wayne Brady perform a conversation in mostly faux German.

In the third, Colbert plays an “overly dramatic Shakespearean actor” trying to win a date with Wayne Brady in a parody of the old show “The Dating Game.” That one seemed almost tailor made to suit Colbert’s unique talent.

In the fourth (second video), Colbert plays a part he should have been quite familiar with by then, that of a news anchor.

After watching Colbert’s versatility, there should be no question that Stephen Colbert will be a fantastic addition to late night TV.
