Breaking News: Capital One Drops Rush

Capital One joins the ranks of 34 sponsors who have dropped their advertising on the Rush Limbaugh Show.

“…Capital One responded: “Yes.  We have reiterated our advertising choices to our media partners.  If an ad did run, it was not authorized by us, and we do not want it to happen again”.


But we should be asking, where was this uproar by the sponsors during Limbaugh’s previous racist, sexist rants?  Are these sponsors truly offended by Limbaugh’s sentiments, or are they merely bowing to the pressure from their customers?  It will be telling when their advertising is aired again, and where.
